Amy
Isherwood grew up in the Chicagoland area in a home where the entrepreneurial
spirit and an appreciation for hard work ran deep, having parents who ran their
own business for over 40 years. Exposed early to Chicago’s astounding arts and
culture, Amy fell in love with theatre and dreamt of being on the stage, which
led her to the University of Iowa and a bachelor of fine arts in dance and a
minor in theatre with honors. Out of college, Amy was excited to accept a
position as a professional dancer with the top global cruise line corporation,
Carnival Cruise Lines. She was soon promoted to Dance Captain, managing the
cast and crew of the onboard production shows, and enjoying being a member of
the hospitality staff of a floating hotel.
After a ten-year career, a new venture was on the horizon. Living on the sea
for a decade, it was impossible to imagine not being near the ocean. And with a
passion for the arts and theatre, she needed a place that offered a rich and
diverse cultural scene. South Florida was the perfect segue. Very quickly, Amy
adopted South Florida and its people as her home. It wasn’t long before she
realized that her unique talents could best help the people of South Florida
and those who want to call South Florida home through a new career in real
estate.
Now Amy relies on her work ethic, competitive attitude, and finesse for
customer service to help buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals,
and guide them through the transaction as a trustworthy and knowledgeable
advocate. Amy has a stellar history of negotiating the best financial outcomes
for her clients and her responsiveness to clients is unmatched. Whether buying
or selling, Amy is the partner you’ve been looking for.
In Amy’s free time, she enjoys going to the beach and seeing live shows. She
also dabbles in performing stand-up comedy. Amy volunteers for various local
organizations, is a member of the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, and
is part of a committee that promotes the awareness of human trafficking.
